HRCx has been engaged by the owner Oxford Properties Group to provide commissioning services for the renovation and re-imagining of the flagship park Hyatt Hotel in the centre of Yorkville, Toronto
Architect KPMB is responsible for the - podium and public area re-construction while the total project Interior Design has been re-awakened by Toronto Hotel Designer Studio Munge. The South Tower, on Bloor Street, opposite the Royal Ontario Museum, is being converted to Executive Rental apartments operated by Oxford. The rooftop restaurant overlooking the ROM and the University of Toronto campus is getting a complete overhaul.
The North Hotel tower rooms are getting a complete re-fresh with new AODA accessible rooms and modern amenities such as super fast Wi-Fi and IP Protocol TV service. Updated guestroom automation will provide the expected 5-star experience that Hyatt’s premium brand demands. The spa and fitness center in the basement of the building is also receiving a complete overhaul. A large ballroom and meeting rooms are all new above the re-built entry Porte Cochere.
Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palma located on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, is designed to be a one-of-a-kind tropical hideaway situated on a long sandy beach and pristine waters. The 5-star luxury resort includes luxury guest rooms and branded residences, with a spa, fitness centre, conference facilities, and food and beverage spaces. The project which is set to open mid-2019, boasts a swimmable beach in a thousand acre resort, organic orchards and farms, plus a 250 slip marina.

Designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects, The St Regis Residence Toronto (formerly The Trump Hotel and Residence) is the first of its brand in Canada. The Hotel includes 261 hotel suites, 118 condominium suites with a super penthouse, 2 levels of recreational space, a spa, a 5 star restaurant and bar, 6 levels of parking, and a residential sky lobby at level 31.
HRCx provided existing building commissioning services for the St. Regis Residence Toronto. During the investigation phase of the project completed in January of 2019, the team identified Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs). We worked closely with the client to assist in implementing the ECMs and FIMs that were recommended based on our prior findings.
The Ritz Carlton is a 50-storey luxury hotel and condominium tower situated in the heart of Toronto’s financial district. Housing 267 hotel suites, 135 residential units and retail space on the main level, the tower is valued at $350 million. HRCx provided commissioning services for this project, which is truly a landmark facility that adds a new dimension to the Toronto skyline.
