Trillium Health Partners Pandemic Response Unit

HRCx provided commissioning for the temporary onsite Pandemic Response Unit located on site at Trillium Health Partners. With the development of a modular treatment unit enabled the hospital to increase the capacity to support the surge of COVID19 patients who require constant monitoring or oxygen and at the same time freeing up vital acute care space in their facilities for patients with more severe needs.

The 50’x165’ Response Unit hold up to 80-plus patients and is situated on Mississauga Hospital’s south parking lot and is dedicated to patients with mild to moderate symptoms of the virus and provides relief to the hospitals overwhelmed resources.

The unit was completed and ready with appropriate supplies and equipment in April 2020.
