University of Toronto Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship

HRCx is providing commissioning services for the University of Toronto’s new Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship Building (CEIE). This 108,000 ft² facility designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios in association with Montgomery Sisam Architects is an 8-storey development with two additional basement levels. Located at 55 St. George Street, this ‘smart building’ features state-of-the-art collaborative classrooms and fabrication facilities, in addition to the University’s Entrepreneurship Hatchery, the Centre for Global Engineering and the Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering. Slated to open in 2017, the CEIE is being heralded as one of the top engineering facilities for teaching and research worldwide.
